First, answer the following questions for yourself. According to Perliger, what are the broad categories of violent far-right groups found in the US today? What attracts people to join them? Where can they be found? How does the iceberg theory help us understand these groups? Next, think about a thesis statement with which you can begin your paper. What do you consider the most important feature of the violent right wing in the US, the feature that your reader should know about? Once you have formulated your thesis statement, you are ready to begin writing.
