Research Proposal Instructions
A 10-page research proposal (NOT including references* or endnotes pages – APA Style), Times New Roman, #12, double-spaced,
that substantively documents an original research proposal on a current social, cultural or political
issue about Hispanic Caribbeans in the United States. Due May 20, 2022
Expected to do a deep search for a specific topic and to complete an annotated
bibliography (10 entries) part of the research proposal. The proposal also includes
the topic, exposition of the topic, justification, objectives, hypothesis, problem, theoretical
framework, discussion questions, detailed methodology,
and preliminary findings.
*References –
everything you cited in your paper. Bibliography – useful resources, but not
necessarily directly or indirectly quoted. Do not include dictionary
definitions and/or resources from Wikipedia or any other public non-verifiable
source; use only academic resources.

Title: Use a catchy, but a concise, not too general nor vague

Exposition: Give a background and details of your topic. Academically

analysis, etc.). It is possible to combine qualitative and quantitative

citation is followed by a brief (usually about 150 words) descriptive and
