OVERVIEW:
The purpose of this case study is for the student to demonstrate an understanding of the
key concepts identified in Chapters 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the course text in relation to addressing the social and
ethical dilemma of homelessness. In doing so, the student should demonstrate critical thinking, analysis,
and decision making. Overarching concepts the student should explore include willful blindness,
business ethics, and corporate social responsibility. However, there are numerous other concepts
identified in Chapters 1, 2, 3 and 4 which the student may also reflect upon when analyzing how to help
the homeless.
