Create a database or spreadsheet for a work situation or a class (educational) situation. For a work-related application, you may want to create a work schedule spreadsheet, tracking form for a clinical problem or tracking form for a core measure; for a class application, perhaps a gradebook with students and assignment grades, or a degree planner with students an course completed.
You may use real (de-identified) or self-created data to use in your assignment. Be sure to use proper descriptive column headings. Include a summary graph/chart of important information. Sort the information logically. Average or sum appropriate columns. The purpose of this assignment is to demonstrate your ability to organize and manage large amounts of data effectively.
Specific requirements (BE SURE YOU INCLUDE ALL ITEMS or points will be deducted):
1. Put your name in the Header
2. A minimum of 15 unique columns headings
3. Three columns must have numerical data that can be summed (time1, time2, time3, etc).
4. One column must be numerical data that can be averaged (age, height, time spent, etc.).
5. One column must have a formula that auto calculates a result (date, hours, minutes, months)
6. Create A minimum of 30 rows of unique data
Sort the data logically.
7. Color code the column used for the sorting. (Usually the first column or the most important column of data).
8. Create at least one Pie chart using the “Charts” feature in Excel
9. Create at least one column, line or histogram chart as a summary table using features in Excel.
