Captivity Narratives are stories about people who are taken prisoner by “barbaric” peoples.
In a complete essay, answer ONE of the following. I do NOT want a summary of the either narrative; instead, I want your critical thoughts. Please do not forget to answer the entire essay question. Describe the Native Americans in each narrative. How does the portrayal of the Native Americans reflect the viewpoint of each woman? What similarities and differences were there between “white” culture and Native american culture? Explain your answers fully.
